Open Letter

Open letter:

Dear hacks :

You’re a fantastic webmaster, you really are. Your ZOMFG DEEJAY MIX is pretty much ace.

On top of that, you’re a cool guy.

But you simply must, for your image and the image of the rest of this magazine, stop palling around with the biggest douchebags possible:

l-r: kid from that Cher movie “Mask”, Steve “hey let me handle this I”m a trained professional” Aoki, HER AGAIN.

Aoki looked us in the face, hacks, and said there’s nothing and never has been anything going on between him and Lindsay ‘Daughter to Father, sentence fragments!” Lohan. I think it may be time for an intervention, before he catches something awful. Or, even worse, before Lohan starts listening to The Knife.

Be a cool guy. Try to help him out.

Sincerely,

-Shaun (acting on behalf of the rest of the family and friends of Resonator Mag)

(in case you missed it, hacks sat down with Steve Aoki two weekends ago pre-Ladytron.)

Deejay Interview: Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki Live in Atlanta

Resonator sat down with superstar dj keoki Steve Aoki Saturday before the Ladytron show in Atlanta for quick Q&A. However, this being Res and we being who we are, we strayed from the mold of the traditional line of questioning and got some in-depth and interesting answers out of him.

Topics range from Factory Records, to His clothing line and Magic (not the card game) to the origins of Dim Mak to Lindsay Lohan

An mp3 of the interview can be found below (or played through out embedded mp3 player, for those not feeding this).

Also, here’s a quick clip of him spinning:

Some quick notes while you’re listening:

I was wearing a white rose movement tshirt during the interview (its relevant, I swear).

The girls from Ladytron kept circling us to talk to him, and assumed we had no idea who they were.

The show kicked ass.
