“Open/House”, explained by City Center themselves:
This song is divided into two parts, each representing a nebulous perspective on age. The first half of the song “Open” is teenagers looking at their parents, teachers, other elder authority figures, and reacting with detached confusion. Without a language to dissect the things that happen when you grow up, there’s nothing but a simple cry for an explanation. The second part “House” is a crowded, stuttering look in on youth from the perspective of the adult, thinking they’ve got it figured out retroactively. A lot of our songs deal with things that come up in teenage days.
This is going to be an amazing night, yes? Yes. Mark your calendarsFacebook.
